About KD Finvest
who we are
A wealth perspective firm, not a product distributor
KD Finvest Services was built around a simple observation: most investors have never had one conversation that covered everything they own.
real estate
Residential and commercial property, land and property opportunities, real estate investments.
financial assets
Mutual funds, bonds and fixed income, NCDs, equity, PMS and AIFs.
the problem we set out to solve
Wealth grows in pieces, and is advised in pieces
A property was bought because it made sense at the time. A policy was taken because someone recommended it. A fund was started because a colleague mentioned it. Business capital sits where it has always sat. Each decision was reasonable on its own day. Together they were never designed.
The result is common and rarely visible to the person living it: a great deal of wealth, spread across places that nobody has assessed together, with no view of how much depends on the same thing happening. A business owner whose company, commercial premises and personal savings all rest on one sector. A family whose wealth is overwhelmingly in one city's property market. Neither is a mistake — both are simply worth seeing clearly.
Most of the industry is not set up to help with this, because most of the industry is organised around products. Ask a distributor about a fund and you will hear about the fund. Ask a broker about property and you will hear about property. Very few conversations start with the question that actually matters: given everything you already own, what should the next decision be?
That is the gap KD Finvest works in. Not by claiming that financial assets are superior to real estate — they are not, and the reverse is not true either. Real estate and financial assets have different characteristics, and neither is automatically better. The appropriate balance depends on the investor's circumstances and goals. Our work is to make that balance visible and deliberate rather than accidental.
our framework
See. Consider. Revisit.
Three steps, applied to whatever you already hold rather than to a product we would like to sell.
see
See exactly how much of your wealth sits in one place.
consider
Consider a wider range of options, structured as one coherent plan.
revisit
Come back and revisit the plan as your goals or circumstances change.
the founder
Kshitij Desai has actually done this
KD Finvest Services was founded by Kshitij Desai, based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The firm's perspective comes from working across both sides of the divide most investors live with — property on one side, financial assets on the other — and seeing how rarely anyone looks at the two together.

Questions about KD Finvest
Individuals and families whose wealth has grown across more than one place — high-net-worth investors, business owners and entrepreneurs, investors whose holdings sit largely in real estate, salaried professionals, families planning around several goals at once, and companies looking at surplus funds. What connects them is not portfolio size; it is that no single conversation has ever covered everything they own.
Yes — that is one of the most common situations we see. Real estate and financial assets simply have different characteristics, and neither is automatically better than the other. The useful question is what balance suits your goals, your liquidity needs and your time horizon. We start there, not from a view that you should sell anything.
Our starting point is the plan rather than the product, and this site is deliberately organised that way — services before products. Any commercial arrangements are disclosed openly before you commit to anything.
We listen. You describe your situation broadly — what you hold, what you are trying to achieve, what is coming up. We explain how we would approach it and whether we are the right fit. There is no obligation, and we do not ask for account numbers, PAN or specific portfolio values at that stage.
let's talk
Let's start with a conversation
There's no obligation, no pressure — just a conversation about where things stand and where you'd like to go.
